Approval & Affiliation

Two year B. Ed. programme being run at Sant Hari Dass College of Higher Education is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka. The norms and standards for the delivery of the course - as laid down by the GGSIP University - are followed at the college. The B.Ed programme is divided into four semester's duration. Each semester comprises of theory and practical subject.

Bachelor of Education

B.Ed. course is a Two year degree course affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Recognized by NCTE Delhi(Govt. of India).

Intake and Reservation of Seats

In B. Ed. Programme, there is intake of 100 seats. The existing reservation policy stipulates 10% seats as "Management Quota Seats". Out of the remaining 90%, 85% are reserved for Delhi candidates and 15% for outside Delhi candidates. Further reservation for specific categories shall be as per the guidelines of Government of NCT of Delhi

Eligibility

The candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor degree in humanities and social science. They must have passed at least two school subjects for teaching methodology subjects.

The following teaching subjects are available in our Institute:-

For graduates

English, Hindi, Social Science, Mathematics and Life Science The first teaching subject on the basis of Graduation. The second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subject passed at the graduation level or at 12th level.

For Post Graduates

English, Hindi, Business Studies, Accountancy, Mathematics, and Life Science. The first teaching subject on the basis of post graduation and second teaching subject can be chosen either from the main subject passed at the post graduation level or at the graduation level.
